Soil Aeration and Deep Soil Injections

What is Soil Aeration and Deep Soil Injections?

Soil aeration and deep soil injections are services that are an effective solution for improving soil drainage capabilities and boosting turf growth in lawns that are suffering from compacted or water logged soil.

How Does Soil Aeration Work?

Soil Aeration improves the ability of soil to absorb and filter water, nutrients and air. It is frequently used on private and commercial properties, especially in areas where the soil is clay-rich or experiences heavy foot traffic as the ground has a tendency to become heavily compacted.

A small machine is used to aerate the soil by extracting small plugs of soil in a grid like pattern. When used alongside other treatments like Nutritional Boosters, it can facilitate the fast recovery and restoration of previously barren turf.

What Is A Deep Soil Injection?

Deep Soil Injections are used primarily for breaking up heavily compacted soil, especially in areas that are rich in clay, as they tend to become compacted quite easily. It is primarily used around trees or areas where the soil is deeply compacted at the root level rather than just the surface. It provides the same benefits as Soil Aeration, only instead at a much deeper level

When & Where Should Each Solution Be Used?

Surface Level Aeration vs Deep Soil Injections.

Surface Level Aeration is effective when paired with other lawn care services, decompacting the surface of the turf without needing to go any deeper. This is ideal for large, flat fields of just turf where the soil has become compacted on the surface due to one of many environmental factors.

Deep Soil Injections are more suited for areas where other plants and vegetation โ€“ especially trees โ€“ are present nearby and their root structures expand well beneath the effective depth of surface level aeration. In these instances, a VOGT injector would be effective in breaking up the

Advanced Lawn Care Equipment.

Heritage Consultancy utilises state-of-the-art VOGT excavation tools for soil aeration and decompaction. The devices provide unparalleled levels of pressure when it comes to breaking up the structure of the soil and enables arborists to deliver nutrients and minerals deeper than any other aeration device.
