The entry-level soil aeration and injection device in the Geo-Injector family, the Geo Injector Mini, offers an impressive range of essential functions found in its larger counterparts. Designed with mobility and ease of use in mind, it places an emphasis on cost-efficiency over high-end performance and versatility, making it a smart and accessible choice for landscapers, arborists, and property owners working in non-professional or smaller-scale environments.
The Geo Injector Mini accommodates up to 2 litres of granules (maximum grain size of 4mm) and is designed for quick and easy refilling, making it ideal for uninterrupted use in the field. An integrated viewing window provides convenient monitoring of fill levels and system performance. Aeration or injection is triggered via an intuitive lever on the control panel, with adjustable depth settings to suit a variety of applications. The granule tank can be removed effortlessly thanks to a quick-release fastener, which also allows users to switch to an optional fluid adapter. This adapter enables the use of water and liquid fertilizers, with an inlet pressure starting from 2 bar of pressure, ideal for compatibility with typical pump systems or household water connections.
Compact yet capable, the Geo Injector Mini is also effective for tasks such as grave-stem work and alleviating soil compaction. Built to serve both homeowners and professionals alike, it bridges the gap between domestic utility and commercial-grade technology, while the rest of the Geo Injector range is more focused on large-scale, professional use.

Healthy Soil, Healthy Plants
Soil aeration works by injecting compressed air into the ground through a specially designed lance. This process disrupts compacted soil layers, forming channels and pores that improve airflow and water penetration within the substrate, rejuvenating the soil’s ability to support healthy root growth. The Geo Injector Mini is a compact tool that handles both soil aeration and injection efficiently. It’s particularly valuable for loosening hardened soils, restoring permeability, and improving nutrient availability for trees, shrubs, and other deep-rooted plants.
Factors such as construction activity, heavy foot traffic, and natural soil shifting can compress the soil around trees and plants, restricting access to critical nutrients, air, and moisture. A reliable device such as the Geo Injector Mini offers an effective, non-invasive solution to this common issue. By delivering compressed air at 5.0 to 8.0 bar of pressure, it alleviates compaction while preserving root integrity. To prolong the benefits of soil loosening, dry clay granules (3 to 4 mm in size) can be injected directly into the soil to reduce the speed at which the soil compacts over time and enhances the flow of water and air through the soil itself. Additionally, this method supports precise nutrient delivery directly to the root zone, fostering healthier, more resilient plant growth.
Add-ons & Extra Equipment
GEO Injector Fluid
A compact unit for the injection of liquid and gel suspensions, the Geo Injector Fluid provides you with sustained and constant injection quantity.
Soil aeration is performed through a 20-litre buffer tank which, after loosening the soil, has fluid gently injected into the ground via a separate hose with pressure ranging from 2 to 7 bar of pressure. This process can be done at varying depths to suit different needs. The pneumatic one-man operation, located directly at the injection unit, allows for flexible work within a 10-meter radius around the supply unit. The injection quantity is precisely adjusted using a time valve to ensure even distribution.
A 3.3-meter-long suction hose facilitates operation with large storage containers (such as IBC containers), and a pneumatic circulation function prevents the suspension from settling. The compact device can be easily attached to the storage container or, optionally, to an available work-and-transport unit using an adapter plate. The device operates at a pressure of up to 10 bar.
VOGT Air Injector
With a focus on user convenience in mind, the VOGT Air Injector is designed to be operated in a wide range of environments and on all of our Geo Injector products. Featuring a lightweight design, excellent ergonomics, and an intuitive triggering mechanism, the VOGT Air Injector is a fantastic add-on for soil aeration activities.
Capable of being quickly attached to any VOGT TurboSpade using a quick-change system, the Air Injector is capable of extremely fast set-up and adaption in the field. Its injection spear is driven into the ground by the TurboSpade and when the control lever is released on the control console, the spear breaks the soil apart and decompacts it. The intensity of the air blast can be controlled with the shut-off valve at the air inlet, allowing for the operator to wield it with great precision. The Air Injector is compatible with a variety of TurboSpade lengths allowing you to select injection pipes ranging from 30cm to 200cm.
The valve-controlled triggering technology releases air in a sudden, high-pressure burst, effectively breaking up and aerating the soil. This allows the spade to gently break up dense, compacted or sooty soils requiring little-to-no physical effort. Loosening the soil with this device provides several key benefits. First, it allows rainwater to penetrate the soil more efficiently and spread evenly, which might otherwise pool on the surface of the soil instead and become a host of several serious health issues for plants and animals alike. Additionally, it also helps facilitate the flow of nutrients throughout the soils, allowing a better distribution across a wider range and thus improving the health and resilience of plants and trees in general.
Improved Water Infiltration and Nutrient Distribution
Loosening compacted soil with the Air Injector offers immediate and long-term benefits. It enhances the soil’s ability to absorb rainwater, helping it to spread evenly rather than pooling at the surface—where standing water can lead to plant stress, disease, and other environmental issues. Additionally, improved soil structure supports better distribution of nutrients, increasing the health, resilience, and longevity of trees and plants in both urban and landscaped environments.
Once the soil has been properly aerated, it becomes significantly easier to introduce liquid fertilizers, soil additives, or nutrients. In hard or compacted conditions, these beneficial substances often fail to reach the root zone and are easily lost through runoff. With the VOGT Air Injector, materials are delivered more effectively into the loosened soil profile, ensuring better absorption and lasting results.
