WHAT IS SOIL, TISSUE & MICROBIAL TESTING?

Soil, Tissue and Microbial Testing allow us to receive deeper insight into the health and underlying fertility of the soil found beneath. While useful as individual services in their own right, Plant Tissue Testing, Soil Microbial Assessments and Soil Testing when used together, provide a complete and comprehensive understanding of the soils health and fertility in extreme detail.

PLANT TISSUE TESTING.

Plant Tissue Testing.

Plant Tissue Testing is an excellent way to monitor the current effectiveness of pre-existing fertiliser plans alongside the uptake of nutrients by the plants and turf. This allows us to identify problems well before they begin to show visual symptoms.

Plant Tissue Testing.

Our Plant Tissue Testing is extremely effective in identifying trace element levels present in the soil while also complementing soil testing services:

  • Testing for nitrate and ammonium levels within the soil.
  • Chloride (C), nitrogen(N) and sulphur(S) testing.

SOIL MICROBIAL ASSESSMENTS.

Soil Microbial Assessments.

Our Soil Microbial Assessment service provides a detailed analysis of the microbial life in the soil, including beneficial bacteria, fungi, and other organisms that contribute to nutrient cycling and disease suppression.

By understanding the balance of microbial populations, we can recommend specific treatments to enhance soil health, such as adding organic matter, applying compost teas, or incorporating bio-stimulants. This service is especially useful for promoting long-term soil fertility and resilience in both urban and rural landscapes.

  • Micronutrient availability (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, B, Si).
  • Full range pH-level testing.
  • Trace element levels and presence.
  • Agronomist recommendation(?) report with step-by-step guidance and advice on

Supporting Successful Projects Before Construction Begins.

The most effective arboricultural outcomes are achieved during the earliest stages of project planning. By identifying opportunities and constraints before detailed design, Heritage Consultancy assists clients in reducing project risk, minimising redesigns, avoiding construction variations and achieving efficient planning approvals.

Our consultants work closely with developers, architects, planners and engineers to integrate arboriculture into the design process, delivering practical solutions that balance project objectives with environmental and legislative requirements.
