Our VOGT Seminar is designed to teach you the ins and outs of using the VOGT Air Spade in the field while also providing you with the knowledge and understanding of how to effectively use the device to decompact soil when its application is deemed appropriate.
As part of the Seminar and training course, morning tea and lunch will be provided for you for both Day 1 & 2 of the course. The course outliner has been laid out below for your consultation:
Day 1 Program Schedule
8:00am:
Arrive Heritage Tree Care Office
9:00-11:00am: In situ VOGT setup.
Travel to Sherwood arboretum: Kauri pine trees (compaction and waterlogging), Ficus (compaction, low nutrients). Penetrometer, moisture meter, chlorophyll meter.
11:00am-11:30am:
Training Room – Morning tea and questions
11:30am-12:30pm: Inhouse Training
Soil health card for soil assessments and canopy assessments.
12:30-1:00pm:
